Pumpkins and Orange Slices

The weather has been pretty chilly lately and all the leaves have started changing colors! I've been getting into the fall mood by sculpting lots of miniature pumpkins!

These 1:12th scale pumpkins look like they're just out of the pumpkin patch!

This jack o' lantern preparation board was a fun challenge to work on. The pumpkin guts took lots of tries to get right!

I've also been working on orange slices, these were pretty tricky to sculpt because they are so tiny! I have yet to experiment with making whole and half peeled oranges. :)

I hope you're having a fantastic week!

Photography Hike photos

I really enjoy taking photos and belong to a photography group. We like to get together at locations around the city to practice our skills. Here are a few photos I recently took along the Mississippi river at sunset. :)

A Few Miniatures

Today I'm sharing a few miniatures I haven't shown on my blog yet. If you follow me on Instagram you might have already seen these. :)

Three miniature fall pumpkins just out of the pumpkin patch, maybe they're going to be made into spooky jack 'o lanterns for Halloween!

Close up.

This is a miniature basket I wove out of paper a while back, it was loads of fun to create and I'm very interested in experimenting more with mini basket weaving!

Now this is a recent miniature basket I finished this week, made out of wire and thread. I am going to continue to practice with the wire for weaving, I have lots of idea's!

Last but not least two mini cheese pizza slices I sculpted a few weeks ago. :)

Have a great Saturday!
